Woke up to an epic ice by Theres. Then spent most of the day sitting at the Info Desk covering shifts. Marissa made Taco Bell Mexican pizzas for dinner and the gang got to see the new deck for the first time.

Hopping day in the DKC. Brought in snacks for the staff. Worked on a DoOO for digital identity workshop outline. Went to the faculty art exhibition opening, then played poker at the Smiths’.

Interviews for Alec’s replacement at work today. Isla and I went to the comic shop and picked up Paper Girls. Got a delicious Wawa meatball sub for dinner. Noticed some missing assignments in Isla’s Canvas and got worried. It turned out many of them were marked as complete in Power School.

Busy day. Discussed the Sideways effect and SIFT method in class. Had Impossible meats and Outer Aisle buns/wraps at the UC. Got up at 6am to walk to Finney reserve for the sunrise. Lots of traffic on the drive home but listened to Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow and didn’t notice the delay too much.

Had a run/bike to the General Store again today. Isla thought she lost the towel covering her seat but it was stuck to her butt. Went to Cedar today. Treaded for clams then had a nice swim on the oceanside, great waves and warm water. Went back to the house and cooked up the clams.…

Up and off to Dawson’s today. First time in the new boat! Crowded beach. A guy with a Let’s Go Brandon flag and a Hooters visor posted up right next to us. Pretty grumpy, but then the Aigner’s arrived and I got to catch up with David. They are considering moving back to VA.

Biked to the Wachapreague General Store with the whole family this morning. Love this new version of the Miss Margaret’s. Flew in Bill McCarter’s small plane over the Shore. Covered openness and accessibility in class. I really enjoy this class session. Picked up Isla and we drove to the Shore. Smooth sailing all the way! Went for a run/bike with Dad and read “A Study in Emerald” on the porch.
