Busy day getting prepped for a DKC open house that no one came to and running across campus for class visits. Ordered from El Asador and then jogger over to pick it up. $10 for a huge delicious dinner. Also checked out the market next door, lots of fresh produce and meats.

Tuesday 8/30/22
Saw my class in person for the first time today. I like being in the smaller room but it is a little cramped with 20. All day meetings and presentations today. Exhausting. Finished bagging and boarding magazines! Now I just have to figure out storage/display.

Monday 8/29/22
Back at work! Good to finally be there when the students are there. Watched the first episode of Wheel of Time but didn’t particularly care for it. Walked to Family Dollar to pick up dinner.

Went on my first post-Covid run and felt good. Spent the rest of the day trying to dry out the car completely. Not sure that it is possible. Finished organizing Mad and Cracked magazines and ordered bags and boards.

Realized I ordered the wrong stain, so went back to Lowes to swap. Then spent 12 hours staining the deck. The railing was a serious pain. Next time maybe I’ll skip all the little verticals.

Felt much better today. Put in a full day of work, then ordered supplies for staining the deck. Found my new local Chinese restaurant!

Days are a bit if a blur in quarantine. Met my class virtually and had the DKC meet them for the second class session. Fixed a 25Live issue. Finished Way of Kings and started the second book in the series. Lynn made me lasagna and Molly made me stuffed peppers. Felt pretty good by the…

Turns out the reason I was tired all weekend was probably because I had Covid. Tested positive this morning. Isla tested negative and Molly came to pick her up. I scrambled to get work tied up and then laid around trying to sleep. Message the new doctor I will see next month but they said…

Sunday 8/21/22
Went for a run, then I finished up power washing. Went to Jersey Mikes and played the gift we gave Daria, Trial by Trolley. Went with the Smiths to the new bubble tea place, Bubble Bees. Very expensive. Isla finished homework while I cleaned the house. Dozed through Buffy.

Isla and I power washed the deck and she cut my hair. Went to Debra’s party and caught up with Jeff. Daria came over for a sleepover.
