Went out to the Wachapreague stops on the Artisans Guild tour. Isla stepped in poop and was given a dog painting. Got Christmas trees and Isla helped mom decorate their tree. Isla and I took a misty walk in the field. Finished Rhythm of War and Isla almost finished Hoot.

Thanksgiving! Isla helped prep and I ate way too much and felt sick. Good though. Talked to Jonathan about his Rivian electric truck. Worth looking into in a couple years.

Had a family meeting about Covid protocol since dad is still in the masking window. Went for a hike to the bottle water and water oak. Watched Where the Crawdads Sing.

Worked from home this morning. Met several students and changed sheets. Picked up Isla and we headed to the Shore.

Met Twiggy and Jayson for breakfast at Exmore diner. Said goodbye to mom and dad on their way to Alabama and Arizona to see Joan and George. Drove home racing NVR HME and then put together IKEA shelves for the comic collection.

Got up at 6am to walk to Finney reserve for the sunrise. Lots of traffic on the drive home but listened to Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow and didn’t notice the delay too much.

Had a run/bike to the General Store again today. Isla thought she lost the towel covering her seat but it was stuck to her butt. Went to Cedar today. Treaded for clams then had a nice swim on the oceanside, great waves and warm water. Went back to the house and cooked up the clams.…

Up and off to Dawson’s today. First time in the new boat! Crowded beach. A guy with a Let’s Go Brandon flag and a Hooters visor posted up right next to us. Pretty grumpy, but then the Aigner’s arrived and I got to catch up with David. They are considering moving back to VA.

Biked to the Wachapreague General Store with the whole family this morning. Love this new version of the Miss Margaret’s. Flew in Bill McCarter’s small plane over the Shore.
