Was way too tired at work today and convinced myself I had Covid, so went home at lunch to test and nap. Test was negative but still felt tired so stayed home and rested for the afternoon.

Drove down to see S-Man and Kristen in Greensboro this weekend. Met Kristen’s dad and brother, tried to swim at their pool but had storms. Just Jerry and I in the office today. Presented to students in the summer enrichment program. Got a Covidwise notification for the first time but tested negative. Made a cucumber salad and perfected the take and bake pizza on the oven (low on left three burners, high on right three). Delicious.

Up at 5am to head to our 7am flight. Delicious breakfast sandwich at Brueggers Bagels, then short 45 minute flight to DC. Josh, Hazel, Isla, and I drove down to Pike’s Peak. The drive up was so intense my hands were sweating, and I got very lightheaded at the summit. Had some high-altitude donuts and headed home. Went to Meow Wolf in downtown Denver. Quite an experience! Jesse suggested we’d be done in two hours but we spent almost five there. Almost finished the hoop story but not quite. Mad palomas, ordered pizza, and went for a long walk with Jesse while Isla played Little Nightmares II.
