Drove home and mowed the leaves. Played Gloomhaven and just barely beat one the gang had failed twice.

Hiked the Plunge trail and then went to Bold Rock. Nice place! Get the bourbon from The Barrel Room next time.

Trained two new students on the info desk. Had a bit of a blow up about something minor and had to take a walk to cool down. Rode out to wintergreen and had dinner at Pro Re Nata, watched Rolling Stones cover band Cherry Red.

Made our game in class, Yeti Hunters of Mesa Rodeo. Dad tested positive for Covid. Hosted our DJing workshop with JMack.

Did a pitch for Jason’s class and hosted an info session with some good interest. Took Isla to trivia for the first time and we won!

Started the interactive fiction lesson in class today. Love this lesson. Students get very excited about telling an interactive story. Graded all the things, so I am caught up on that. Went over to the Hauser’s for Tiny Terror Tuesday and watched an episode of Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities.

Spent the day building the resource for the Going Digital Video workshop. Please with how it came together, and the discussion in the workshop was enthusiastic and interesting. Dinner at the Jewish cultural celebration at the UC with Marissa, then started watching Peripheral (which I didn’t realize was a William Gibson idea).

Nice run with the gang, then cleaned leaves off the roof, gutters, and porch. Shoe and Plato’s Closet shopping with Mom and Dad, then family dinner with Randy, Marissa, and the Hausers.

Wet run through the quarry trail. Went shopping for a shorter downrod for Molly’s fan. Installed that fan and moved the old one to the game room. Defeated our white whale Gloomhaven mission in the cistern.

Fixed the fridge door that had been popping open for years by leveling the feet. Wish I had tried this earlier. Played Gloomhaven with the gang, then walked to Molly’s and replaced her fan. Walked back for more Glooming, then went back over for dinner and jar wine. Installed the fan at home but it…
