Made lots of signs today. Went to Pete’s opening at Liberty Town, then tried to find a place to eat downtown but everything was packed. Ended up going to the Hausers’ for happy hour and dinner.

Met with other academic centers to plan the semester a bit. Had drinks with Jerry after work (Rapid Run IPA, quite good), then board games at the Smith’s for the first time in a long time. Played Haunted Mansion and won.

Rough night of sleep on the plane, but after a stop at Starbucks we made it back to Fredericksburg okay. Dozed and finished season 4 of Stranger Things for most of the day.

Successfully accomplished the bike ride to Google today with no casualties. Ate snacks and drank coffee in the collaboration swings, then pedaled back down the Guadalupe River Trail and passed a sprawling tent city. Started off with the Joker’s Asylum escape room, which split us into two groups. We finished with 3 minutes to spare after I brute forced the final puzzle.
